Botox

Considered one of the quickest and safest methods for removing wrinkles, Botox is now one of the most popular non-surgical cosmetic procedure performed by doctors around the world. Botox is a brand name given to the purified form of a neurotoxic protein called botulinum toxin that is produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. Its diluted form is used in aesthetics to improve your various skin problems. This treatment is popular for its benefits which help to improve and rejuvenate your skin and make your face look much younger. Botox is also gaining wide popularity for its ability to correct your forehead creases, frown lines, bunny lines on nose, crows’ feet around eyes, eyebrow lift and jaw lift, depressed angle of mouth, facial wrinkles, and gummy and fading smile. Botox can also be used to treat many non-cosmetic conditions like uncontrollable eye twitching, migraine headaches, cervical dystonia and excessive sweating.

How Does It Work?

Botox is a safe and simple procedure without the disadvantages associated with surgery. Botox treatment works by shortly paralysing your skin muscles or simply blocking the movement of certain nerves. A small quantity of the diluted protein is injected into the affected muscles of the face using a very fine needle in order to minimise discomfort and maximise accuracy. This procedure helps to eradicate your sagging muscles to look smooth and prevent their contraction or the development of any spasm. In this manner, your wrinkles relax and fade out in some days. And, when the signs of wrinkles begin to reappear, the treatment may be repeated (which is generally 5 to 6 months after the first sitting). However the longevity of botox effect increases with each subsequent sitting.

Most Commonly Treated Areas:

  • Forehead lines
  • Frown lines
  • Large pores
  • Lip lines
  • Nose tilt and flare
  • Crows feet
  • Square jaw
  • Bunny lines
  • Popply chin
  • Excessive sweating

Frown Lines

Natural aging, subconscious frowning, stress or bad facial habits can cause frown lines and grooves to develop around the eyes. The most prominent frown lines appear between the eyebrows and the central part of the forehead as well as around the eyes. Botox injections can create a forehead lift effect to correct dropping browline and brings about a refreshed youthful appearance to the forehead area.

Crow’s Feet

Botox can also get rid of wrinkles at the corners of the eyes when we smile. This helps to reduce the signs of aging by smoothening and softening wrinkles around the eyes.
